DOG WALKING
Dogs require physical and mental stimulation just like people do. If proper exercise is provided on a daily basis, it will energize their body, mind, and spirit. Many dog behavioral problems are the result of isolation, boredom, and insufficient exercise. The Crate Escape's dog walking programs are a great service for your dog and perfect for anyone working long hours or overtime.

DOG OUTINGS
We also offer private outings to off-leash areas including local dog parks and conservation trails! Rain or shine, we'll give your dog a healthy dose of physical activity by taking them on a hike or playing at the park. By the end of the hike, they will be ready to go home and relax for the rest of the day! The Crate Escape's hikes are private one-on-one outings; we have learned that this approach is far safer and less stressful for your dog (despite the more tempting economics of group hiking).

STANDARD PET SITTING
Our standard pet sitting visits are perfect for giving pets the proper exercise and regular food, medicine, and attention that they're used to getting each day. We will follow your pet care routine per your instructions, including feeding, watering, exercising, scooping and changing litter, and administering any medication your pet might require. And most importantly, we will provide your pet with the same love, compassion, and respect we give our own pets!
Dogs generally require 2-3 visits per day. Cats and other animals usually require 1-2 visits per day. We also include basic home care services while you're away, such as bringing in newspapers and mail, watering plants, alternating lights, adjusting blinds and drapes, and setting out or taking in trash receptacles.

MIDDAY POTTY BREAKS
If you live within an 8 mile radius, we offer a 15-minute visit if your dog simply needs a quick potty break while you're away at work. These are also great for combining with our standard 30-minute morning and evening visits, especially for young puppies or senior dogs who cannot wait that long between visits.
Our potty break visits include yard time, poop scoop, water refresh, and lots of special TLC!

PET TRANSPORT SERVICE
The Crate Escape offers safe and professional pet transport to and from your local groomer, trainer, veterinarian, boarding, or day care facility. We can drop off your pet and pick them up later; or if you prefer, we'll stay with them during the appointment. Pet Transport can be scheduled in combination with a dog walking or pet sitting visit.
Rates (1 Pet)
Pet Transport: $30 for the first hour (including travel time with pet and any wait time at appointment), +$20 per additional hour
As an add-on service to any visit: +$20 per hour
Each Additional Pet: +$5 per hour
HOME CARE VISITS
For our non-pet clients, these visits take care of all the things you can't attend to while you're out of town. We'll bring in your mail, water your plants, pick up your packages, and put out and bring in your trash receptacles. We'll make your home looked "lived in" by turning lights on and off, adjusting blinds and drapes, and turning televisions / radios on and off. Our home care visits add an an extra measure of security to your home while providing you with peace-of-mind.
Rates (No Pets)
Home Care Visit: $15 - $20 depending on visit length (15 - 30 min)
HOLIDAYS & PAYMENT TERMS
The following holidays have an extra $5.00 surcharge per visit:
- New Year's Eve
- New Year's Day
- Easter Sunday
- Independence Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Important Payment Terms:
- We accept cash, checks, PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
- A finance charge of 10% per month will be added to unpaid balances after 30 days.
- A handling fee of $35.00 will be charged on all returned checks.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Refund & Cancellation Policy:
- More than 24 Hours Notice – Full refund, no charge
- Less than 24 Hours Notice – 80% refund, 20% cancellation fee
- Fee is waived for regularly scheduled dog walks and midday potty breaks.
